N2 - This paper intends to deepen the link between teachers' professional development and technology, through the discussion of a case study - the research project Motus - that accompanied the introduction of tablet in nine Italian schools (in Lombardy, Emilia and Marche). The results of the experimentation, recently discussed, allow us to highlight some of the dynamics of teachers' innovation-related practices, reducing the weight of many conversations that combine innovation with technology, completely bypassing the human context in which the innovation would find place and meaning.
