Abstract
This essay aims to present e-learning as a methodology for adult learning. In the first part it defines e-learning in its relationship and differences with blended learning, mobile learning and knowledge management. The second part is about e-learning design, e-learning environments and learning objects. The last part is about e-tutoring and e-assessment.
