Death and loss situations represent a pedagogical challenge, because of the existential alternative that they imply in individuals: meaninglessness and despair, on one side, and an extraordinary opportunity for search for meaning and personal growth, on the other. Logotherapy and Existential Analysis provide theoretical and methodological tools, in order to help suffering people to transform their pain in a learning process and their psychological dejection in a spiritual performance. Far from being a strictly clinical intervention, this kind of helping relationship can be named "logo-education", as an attempt to produce acceptance and responsibility towards "limit-situations" in life.
