Abstract

Several literature studies report in vitro measurements performed in cadaver knees. Pressure sensors are used for these investigations, usually inserted with a deep cut of the knee capsule (arthotomy). However this methodology, due to the cut of the soft tissues, could alter the distribution of the force inside the joint.
