Abstract

Authors investigate the structure of the two main forms of popularity among peers, i.e. sociometric and perceived popularity, in Finland and Italy. Correlates of forms of popularity are also examined and two age-groups are compared: children (fourth-graders) and early-adolescents (eight-graders).
