Discriminazioni

Discriminations take the moves from the formulation of an opinion or a classification, then be translated into acts, behaviors and attitudes creating unfair treatments. In this sense, the role of prejudices and stereotypes in the construction of the discriminatory processes is absolutely central. Discrimination affects individuals or groups based on reasons related to ethnicity, gender, religion, belief, sexual orientation, disability or disease, age. Tackling discrimination can take place as a global educational intervention not centered exclusively on certain individuals, but oriented to affect the environment in all its complexity, or through the adoption of affirmative action policies aimed to rebalance inequalities.
