Abstract

Among the founding characteristics of Peer&Media Education, the intertwining of heterogeneous theoretical knowledge and articulated methodological practices stands out. In this perspective, it is constantly highlighted that this approach has an interdisciplinary and multi-factorial vocation that characterizes each intervention. Consistent with this eclecticism and complexity, PME aims to promote rigorous, but not rigid, operating practices that are able to respond to the training needs of a specific team or to the social needs of a territory. The meaning of any intervention inspired by the PME logics cannot be translated into a predefined and standardized operating or training kit, but it needs a careful analysis of the needs and characteristics of the context in which it is to intervene. The essay offers a brief analysis of the key points that characterize some areas of reference in which the PME approach can prove strategic and effective. A survey that allows to define some methodological cornerstones referring to the contexts of intervention, with a distinctly operational cut, which is further substantiated in the choice of identifying specific concrete experiences, which allow to exemplify this flexibility of intervention in relation to the contexts and places where you operate.
