Abstract
This is a poem written in the traditional form of ci 辭, attributed to Xu Guangqi with a rigid tonal structure and a precise rhythmic scheme. The content is the description of the main characteristics of Christianity, a praise of missionary work of evangelization and a critique of the three main religious doctrines in China: Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.
