Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the reactives developed by the well-known psychiatrist and psychologist Sante De Sanctis at the beginning of the XX century, identifying the criteria that guided him in their delineation. The analysis will be conducted bearing in mind the national debate about the measurement of intelligence and, in particular, by noting aspects of affinity and distance between the reactives and Binet-Simons’s metric scale.
