Crisi economica: segno di altro?

The present-day crisis shows very peculiar features. It is not simply economic, but it is included in an era of generalized irresponsibility, which is mortifying for the single individual. Namely, the single individual is inclined to feel himself legitimately irresponsible for all that not concerns the “here and now”. What lacks is the attitude to plan the future, because the power of the technology is able to unhinge the whole horizon of sense. It is not so surprising that in our age the non-sense, the non-value – in other words, the crisis – dominate. The real crisis is the total absence of any principle of legitimization. Nothing has any more value because nothing is considered authoritative and therefore able to justify choices and responsibility.
