Abstract
This essay presents an epistemological workshop centered on the biological “oddity” of the kiwi’s egg to explore how we construct knowledge. Starting from a stimulus question — “why is the kiwi’s egg so large?” — the author guides the reader to distinguish between adaptive and structural explanations, advocating for a pluralistic approach over adaptationism. The workshop encourages awareness of implicit cognitive strategies in knowledge practices and draws on constructivism and autopoiesis, connecting epistemological reflection with personal and organizational development.
