Sharing as communication: when people share both practices and meanings. If online communication and interactive media 2.0 are obviously to be considered when speaking of the contemporary sharing turn, this chapter aims at focusing also on the more cultural and relational aspects of the implied communication. In particular, sharing practices may or may not have economical aims and a very advanced digital basis, but usually combine long distance and face to face communication, personal and communitarian projects, symmetrical relations “oriented to reaching understanding “ (Habermas) and desire of social change for a better and more egalitarian society.
