Abstract
This paper inquiries the hunting practices in the short stories and novels of Carlton Mellick III, one of the main voices of Bizarro Fiction genre. The contribution is related to the field of anthropological studies, but focuses on hunting as a desire for domination, linking – in particular – this theme to the prevaricating and devouring relationships who Mellick develops in his stories.
