Abstract
Through a randomized between-subjects experimental design, this research idea aims to compare the\r\neffectiveness of two kinds of Green Training programs. A first one aimed at generally raising awareness\r\non environmental issues by leveraging employee emotional involvement, and a second one aimed at\r\nproviding employees with specific instructions on green initiatives and behaviors at work. Drawing on\r\nSelf Determination Theory, the research idea compares the role of these two kinds of Green Training\r\nprograms, the most investigated ones within the bundle of Green Human Resource Management, in\r\ndriving employee cognitive green crafting (i.e., the first step of the job crafting process). Additionally,\r\ndrawing on Social Cognitive Theory, the role of employee green self-efficacy is also examined.
