Abstract

The linguistic notion of the word is considered from a cultural viewpoint and the mainstream presentation of the word structure is related to a European cultural context. Some elements from languages like Kalaallisut and Georgian help understand that the treatment of words is influenced by the languages used to formulate the scientific discourse.
