Abstract
Autoinflammatory diseases (AIDs) represent a relatively new group of rare disorders determined by deregulation of specific components of innate immunity. They can be subdivided into monogenic and multifactorial disorders, with the former being caused by mutations of genes involved in the regulation of innate immune system and the latter recognizing a combination of genetic background and environmental factors at the start of the pathogenic process. The relationship of AIDs with probiotic factors is presented in this chapter.
