Athenian archaic bronze vessel production: new evidences from old excavations

Abstract

In this work preliminary results from analysis and inventory of the bronze vessel fragments from the early excavations on the Athenian Acropolis are presented. It is now possible to reconstruct Athenian bronze vessel production during the late Archaic and the early Classical periods.
