Abstract
This volume contains the critical and annotated edition of Antonio Pigafetta’s report of the first voyage around the world: an account of the expedition begun by Ferdinand Magellan and accomplished by Juan Sebastián Elcano (1519-1522). The text is accompanied by a historical and philological introduction and a commentary. Indexes of names and annotated words are also provided.
