Abstract
The chapter reviews the existing criminological and victimological literature on corporate violence, its harmful consequences and its impact on victims, with a specific focus on corporate violence victims’ needs as they can be drawn from previous studies, in view of a better implementation of Directive 2012/29/EU (establishing minimum standards on the rights, support and protection of victims of crime, and replacing Council Framework Decision 2001/220/JHA) with respect to this specific group of victims and their peculiar vulnerabilities.
