The military epigraphy, beyond the limes and rock support (as in the case of inscriptions of Baku and Trencin), testifies not stable occupation of territories that became never provinces, but the attitude of the Romans, which accounted for thus their ability to penetrate every area on the rock leaving the perennial memory of their presence
