The book explores the pedagogy of adults under the theme of the work in its meanings, epistemological and practical-operational. Highlights the relationship between work and life contexts of adult learning and to examine the contexts of education and, in particular in the dimension of lifelong education, the difficulties, problems and training appropriate to address the socio-cultural changes taking place with the daily demands of education and vocational training.
The book analyzes the changing economic scenario, with renewed attention to the issue of education to work and lives of young people and adults. Epistemological reasons lead us to approach the work at its different meanings depending on multiple perspectives (socio-economic, ethical, anthropological, psychological and pedagogical). This approach justifies the interdisciplinary scientific analysis of the relationship between work and other spheres of life: family, school, university and business. Among these the family is an important place for young people to grow in hope and trust we can count on a better future.
