Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the framework of the Elizabethan reception - morally negative and socially dangerous - of what constitutes instead one of the most shared cultural rites of our times, what place does Shakespeare occupy instead, how much interest arouses in him the football, how much and which dramaturgical function attributes him in his inimitable and immortal theatrical masterpieces? Not much, but perfectly in line with what was said above. Beyond the brilliant image of planet Earth as "terrestrial ball" that the Bardo puts in the mouth of Richard II in the homonymous drama (about 1595), two equally brilliant and surprising footballs bounce on the scene of two very different plays for genre and expressive purposes and cultural.
