Abstract
Secondary data can play an important influence on the LCA results when assessing the environmental performance of a product. This work aimed at analysing datasets currently available in some commonly used LCA databases (DBs) (Ecoinvent v3, Agrifootprint and Agribalyse) in order to define how different modelling approaches can condition the environmental performance of an agro-food product. Furthermore, some considerations on the sources of data and the modelling choices performed within databases were derived. \r\nWheat primary production in France was chosen as representative process for the study. \r\nThe analysis highlighted significant differences among the environmental performance of the same product in different DBs related to both the choice of data and the modelling approach.
