Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to draw a gap analysis of the main barriers to caring work, found in the organization and management of social services, drawing on the phenomenological perspective. They are considered the hindrance and the essential skill that must be strengthened as correctives to produce benefits concerning to five main areas: innovation, vision, professional relationships, emotional intelligence, diversity management.
