Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Voluntary organizations are an expression of the constitutional principle of 'equal social dignity' proclaimed in art. 3 of the Constitution, and this way they are placed at the heart of a system of values founded together on freedom and solidarity. The different organizational models that have established themselves over time (from voluntary organizations to social cooperatives, up to non-profit socially-owned enterprises) have benefited from a series of legislative interventions supporting the 'third sector'. The investigation starts from the person of the volunteer to identify the regulatory links that justify his activity towards the organization and the people receiving the goods and services offered, also considering the compatibility of the management organized with antitrust law.
