Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution offers the commented edition of the inscriptions painted inside the tombs in the cemetery area of S. Tecla in Milan. The sources are analyzed (with reference to the Ambrosian liturgy of the deceased) and their paleographic characteristics are studied in comparison with other early medieval painted epigraphs from the Italian area.
