Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Work as a vocation and self-discovery calls into question the multifaceted reality of educational orientation, which includes guided internship experiences and precise reflection on work practices, in the perspective of personal development and community generativity. Teaching by vocation represents an important and widespread reality. Its fulcrum is the passion to communicate - a knowledge, a vision of life - and the desire to forge meaningful ties with people. In its social dimension, the vocation to teach - intense or superficial - expresses a closeness. The anthropological choice that marks the contribution starts from the conception of an integral humanism, whereby the education of the person is configured as a promotion of his dignity and care for the human vocation to work; qualifies as a yearning for development, between the dynamism of transformations and the pervasiveness of media coverage in the world.
