Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The pages of the "Politecnico" (1945-47) are the real test of the collaboration between the writer Elio Vittorini and the designer Albe Steiner, who initiates an osmosis between their respective professions. The premises of this partnership must be sought, first of all, in the years of the Resistance and in the very first works that brought intellectuals closer together. In retracing the collaborations of these years, it was useful to use the graph's notes, as well as sketches or reproductions that could trace the signals that preceded and allowed the "polytechnic" experience.
