Abstract

The paper moves from the news which can be identified in the provisions about specific legal constraints of medical choices. In particular, it deals with the issue of progressive accreditation of guidelines within the National Guidelines System, highlighting the problem of relationship between the same and economic assessments and pointing out the importance of bioethical screening in the phase of drafting. In this context, the ethical and critical contribution of the medical community seems indispensable. According to the Author, the bioethics can also represent a non-conflictual field of listening and dialogue, which allows to valorize what can be shared. In addition, some aspects relating to the prevention of voluntary interruption of pregnancy are taken into consideration, in view of the fortieth anniversary of the law n. 194/1978.
