Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The results of a study in two vineyards of the north-eastern Oltrepò Pavese show how a grassy inter-row, compared to a worked one, favors root development along the entire soil profile, even at different distances from the plant's stock. Keeping the inter-row grassy could promote the development of plants and their role as protection against slope instability.
