Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The reconstruction of the intricate judicial story that is the background to the historian Affaire Dreyfus, provides the starting point for a diagnosis on the state of military criminal justice in Italy. The suggestions of Julien Benda, caused by the criminal trial to Dreyufs, guide the author in the analysis of the structural weaknesses of military criminal justice and its more anachronistic aspects, which advise a reform as soon as possible in accordance with the expectations of the Constitution and changed international policy framework.
