Verso una pace democratica? Le politiche di promozione della democrazia dell’UE

[Autom. eng. transl.] To date, the EU's attempt to enlarge the zone of peace beyond its borders through the spread of democracy it does not seem to have met with great success. In particular, at the regional level, the picture in terms of democratization remains dramatically similar to that of twenty years ago, when Politics Neighborhood European Union was launched, while different situations remain of conflict. However, in an international system where the juxtaposition between democracies and autocratic regimes, starting from China and Russia's promotion policies seem to be becoming harsher and more relevant of democracy appear, if possible, even more necessary.
