Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The book provides specific insights into some of the recent market and management trends in global tourism. This contribution is the result of the research and teaching activity conducted by the author as part of the master's course in Management, entrepreneurship and development of global tourism at the Università Cattolica. In particular, it addresses some frontier issues in the management of global tourism companies, such as: the new frontier of space tourism and companies in this new sector, the issue of sustainability in tourism, the growing phenomenon of non-profit tourism and related companies and regulations, the issue of governance and risk management of tourism companies, new management scenarios as well as the assessment of the social and economic impacts of major international monuments. It is therefore a contribution aimed at presenting some innovation scenarios that are investing and transforming the entire sector at a global level and therefore the corresponding management of tourism companies, both nationally and internationally.
