In the first one there are the proceedings of the "Truth" convention of the precept and of the penal sanction to the trial of the trial, held at the Milan headquarters of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart on June 22nd 2012. The conference was inserted in the activities of Prin 2008 " Relations between substantive criminal law and criminal trial ", coordinated by prof. Domenico Pulitanò, from the University of Milan Bicocca, and was organized by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart unit, directed by prof. Gabrio Forti. The second part contains the contributions of the Prin project carried out by scholars of the Catholic University and members of the "Federico Stella" Study Center on Criminal Justice and Criminal Policy
