Abstract

We minimize elastic energies on framed curves which\r\npenalize both curvature and torsion. We also discuss\r\ncritical points using the infinite dimensional version\r\nof the Lagrange multipliers’ method. Finally, some\r\nexamples arising from the applications are discussed\r\nand also numerical experiments are presented
