Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Siro Lombardini was certainly a political, theoretical and applied economist, polyvalent and eclectic but not generic. His anxiety to learn and elaborate, communicate and act often made him a restless scholar in the applications of his very lively intelligence. He was also a politician as a Senator and a Minister without adjectives except that of "independent". In this tripartite division of economist (theoretical, political and applied) values we refer to the policy that is based in Lombardini on an assumption that is declined in two cases. The assumption concerns value judgments. The cases concern the need to avoid concentrations of power in the markets and in geopolitics.
