Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The work of Valeriano Castiglione is reconstructed here, starting from the idea that his service to the court of the dukes of Savoy took place not only in an activity as a historian of the dynasty (this was his official assignment) and commentator on the events officers of the House of Savoy, but above all through a constant action of education to the political virtue exercised towards the sovereigns.
