Using Bipartite graphs to assess power in organizational networks: a case study

Abstract

Through the study case of a restructuring process of a company, we illustrate how two-mode data representation can be an useful tool to describe a hierarchical organization. Further, centrality measures, applied to sectors and individuals and weighted by the influence of each sector, show how power is distributed.
