Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the US perspective, the rapprochement with Iran is putting the whole country in agreement, which - unlike the hypothesized intervention in Syria - perceives it as a national interest capable of smoothing out, at least at this stage, the ordinary political differences. Beyond the ultimate goals of the grand strategy, therefore, there is at this moment a consonance between Democrats and Republicans, between 'realists' and 'idealists' in welcoming the 'open hand' extended by the new Iranian "heroic flexibility".
