Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] "Peaceful coexistence" was the expression that Soviet leader Nikita Chruščëv used in the 1950s to define the state of relations between the United States and the Soviet Union after the death of Joseph Stalin: certainly more relaxed, but equally competitive and not without tensions. In 2012, more than twenty years after the establishment of the "new" Russian Federation, a condition of competition between the two former superpowers continues.
