Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] the essay reconstructs the genesis and realization of Peter Brook's show with the Royal Shakespeare COmpany dedicated to the war in Vietnam in 1966: US. placing it in the historical and social context and establishing valuable comparisons with other shows inspired by the same story in Europe and America, the essay shows the very precocious attention and the non-ideological but profoundly theatrical (in the sense of the dialogic relationship) aspect of this important show devoid of a "script" previously written and built on stage axes by a group of actors capable of also involving the public in a path of research and comparison
