Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The crisis has brought out an eneludible fact: there is no international monetary system, not an institution able to coordinate or "monitor" the macroeconomic policies of the most influential countries. And the questions remain; Is there any intention that the Fed, ECB and Chinese monetary authorities will agree to keep the exchange rate between currencies within set limits? Are there conditions for this to happen? Europe must be around a table of governance otherwise the original and unique path of a continent is erased, which is unified not through wars and annexation policies; we must consider, by the way, that unification is not achieved through a common, indispensable, monetary policy, but through a "government" of Europe.
