Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The vast action of the Savings Bank of the provinces of Lombardy is systematically reconstructed from the point of view of disbursements in favor of the environment in which the institute operated, corresponding in this way to its original vocation and to the aims set in its statutes, inspired by a logic of subsidiarity. In particular, the robust presence of Cariplo is examined in financial support and also in guiding the development of innumerable realities in the assistance, health, professional education, scientific research and culture sectors.
