Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The monumental sculpture in Milan in the second half of the 19th century, presented through some considerations on the historical events of the first post-risogimental phase, is faced through its subjects and its protagonists, with particular attention to the role played by Giuseppe Grandi and to the relationship with works present in the collections of the Modern Art Gallery, the subject of the book and the exhibition.
