Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] A multicultural school is the picture that emerges at the start of the new school year. The students of foreign origin welcomed by the educating community are about 800 thousand, of which 500 thousand only in primary school. From what emerged from the Miur-Ismu report, 5.1% of schools show 30% pupils of foreign origin. According to Istat data, of the 300,000 pupils of foreign origin who attend secondary schools only 30.4% were born in Italy.
