Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper illustrates the results of a qualitative analysis on a sample of daily newspapers (40 newspapers, of which 20 national and 20 international) having the website and a corresponding paper version and monitored for a period of three months (May- July 1997). The purpose of the analysis was to define the new statute of the newspaper and the communicative identity of its electronic version.
