Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The article presents the figure of Camilla Scarampi, a poet who lived between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries in the Milan of the Sforza family, between the Moro age and the definitive decline of the Sforza family; celebrated by Bandello as "other Saffo", Scarampi is a minor figure, who fits with her own personality in the Milanese cultural and literary context of these decades. His small lyrical production, of which the edition is offered and which is enriched with a further composition, in fact shows an early assimilation of the Petrarches model, although not yet rigorous and exclusive. The last part of the article discusses the case of the sonnet If more duo bei lumi appear, contested between Veronica Gambara, who is assigned in the edition procured by Bullock in 1995, and Scarampi, and which is proposed with caution to attribute instead to the latter.
