Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter returns the main results of the survey "Neighbors and connected. Discovering social life", launched in 2014 by a group of researchers from the Catholic University of Milan, which led to the creation of the Observatory on Social Street coordinated by the undersigned . The social street phenomenon, born in Bologna in 2013, has spread very significantly in addition to Bologna in many other Italian cities, primarily in Milan. The cotributo returns a definition, in addition to a detailed mapping of the phenomenon.
