Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution highlights the role played in Pinocchio's training process by the three main actors of his corporeity: the "body-belly," the wooden head "and" the good heart ". As an example of the controversial relationship between instinct and reason, the essay examines in particular the value of the metaphorical expression "a thorn in the heart", referring to chapter XXVII, and the hendiadys "without judgment ... and without heart", which the puppet uses to describe himself in chapter XXXII.
