Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Everyone can realize that the world is a village, where everything is connected, but it is necessary to rebuild educational relationships of respect for creation, in the sign of a personal and community commitment. Responsibly, it is a question of giving life to an integral ecology, to a solidarity humanism. The essays included in the book An educational pact for integral ecology. The Village for the Earth start from the reflection contained in the Message of Pope Francis for the launch of the global educational pact. The authors of the contributions, scholars in various capacities linked to the research promoted by the High School for the Environment of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, critically consider issues and dynamics from a specific pedagogical perspective, elaborating in various ways the assumptions of the experience of Third Mission of the University of Italian Catholics at the Village for the Earth, awareness and training initiative centered on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda.
